Astronomy Project
This project greatly interested me in every aspect when I was going through it. We first had to accumulate background knowledge by learning different origin stories like the Big Bang or The Greek story. After this we learned about the starting of life mostly the scientific way but aswell as other religions. We as a class learned about the history of people who wrote how the earth was the center of the universe and then destroyed that idea, just learning that some scientists or knowledge seeking people maybe don't accept differences. With great knowledge we then wrote essays and created a physical piece. Though it doesn't sound life it much, this project was honestly my favorite and I enjoyed it very much.
Fahrenheit 451 Project
This project revolved around the book by Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451. This book was a great book and very interesting concerning what people thought the world was going to become. We first read the book taking notes and sometimes doing activities with some chapters. By the end we had to write something related to the book, in my case a Historical Analysis. Aswell as making a physical piece, me and my partner Owen Otoole constructed a 'match' with a setting in it with the main characters inside it. Altogether the project was an okay project and relatively was a casual project to me.
Humanities Socialization Project.
In Humanities our first project was about socialization. In this project we learned all the different kinds of socilazation and we then found examples like the ford prison experiment. This project was quite eye opening, learning about many different ways socialization can come to play in different topics. For this project we had to create a Essay explains a topic we would choose, I for example choose how men as perceived as sex craved. We then made masks pertaining to our topic, mine was have a face saying Passion, Loyalty, and Romance while the other side said Pig, Scum, and Hungry. Ultimately this project was okay and was mostly enjoyable.
