P.O.L. : 32Q
I think there are 3 honest things this year I’ve grown from or am proud of. These things are my Bob Marley Free Write, Old Red Article, and my change in grades from last year and starting this year. Each one holds a significant reason why I either grew from or am proud of. The Bob Marley Free Write I am very proud of, because of my effort to go all out on my paper and my hard work was rewarded with a full credited assignment(20/20). Secondly my Humanities Article titled Old Red, was definitely a show of how I grew from boring readers with only long text to incorporating simplicity to interest my readers. Ultimately from putting a decent amount of work into almost all my projects, and turning things not even complete in, my grades have improved much since the end of last year and the beginning of the current one.
Throughout this semester I had many different things I needed to work on to help me throughout it. But I can say that I’ve narrowed it down to 2 different things I could work on, the first would be my mindset, and the second would be time consumption.
Now why I would focus on these specific things to work on is because everyone has different problems and I feel these can be related but mostly in my experience these affect me the most. The first thing I need to work on I know has shown up through different years in the past and I’m now just realizing that it's in the way and how it truly can affect my future years. When I mention my mindset I mean my mindset is one that doesn't exactly respond and remember others opinion. Now along with my mindset I know that in the moment I am a very slacking person, for example in class I won’t do really anything until I get home and then in a time frame I want to relax I make myself work. Because of these problems I create a harder work place for myself, so everyday since I've come to realize this problem I’ve worker to lessen the affects.
What have I learned from this semester that I can carry throughout the rest of high school even into College?
